People visiting Australia for holidays, tourism, recreation or to see family and friends have a choice of tourist visas, ranging from 3, 6 or 12 months.

Applicants from eligible countries can apply online for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) via the Australian ETA App. You can download the Australian ETA app from the official app stores (Apple and Google Play).   

Passport holders from the European Union and a number of other European countries can apply for the online Evisitor via the Home Affairs ImmiAccount. Applicants from non-eligible countries, or those wanting to extend their stay can apply online for the Visitor Visa (Subclass 600) account.
